
The 132nd Queensland Eisteddfod will see our competition return to the Garden City of Toowoomba over the 2027 Easter long weekend (March 26-28), where events will be based at the Empire Theatres complex.

Unfortunately, Instrumental and Speech & Drama items are not being offered in our 2027 competition.
Entries close on Friday, 11 December 2026, however late entries will be accepted until Friday, 18 December 2026 at double the standard entry fee.

You should receive a confirmation email following submission of the form. For those unable to use these online forms for whatever reason, a “manual” form for submission by email or post is available at the end of the Schedule document.

Toowoomba first hosted the Queensland Eisteddfod for our 20th competition in 1908. Since then, we have returned to the Garden City 15 times, most recently in 2023, with the stunning Empire Theatre (pictured below) having hosted the competition on four occasions since its re-opening in 1997.
